This is a job, not a joke

Okay, I know I was fail failed.

This morning, I received an email that assigns me to do a task. Good thing: I know how to do this task. Bad thing: My assignment didn’t allow me to do it my way. Of course, I replied to this email that I am not don’t agree with it, and I have a meeting right after the email was sent. In the meeting, I have complained why this meeting wasn’t arranged before the assignment was assigned? and why the assignment was totally different with the outline what I planned before? No question was answered. Some sorry words cried out, but they are not what I expect to see.

Why should I hire you?

I don’t know if this question is polite or not, but I always ask my candidates in my interview with them, “Why should I hire you?”. The answer maybe are all of reasons on earth that my candidates can think and talk to me, such as “I am good at PHP (Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript…)” or “I have 7 years of experience” or “I come from a company that bigger than your company, so I think I can help!”. Of course, these answers are good, and very reasonable. I even didn’t know one of them to talk to my interviewer in my latest interview, too bad hah?

Are we the watchmen?

One of my family members died this week. Somebody knows why. Some body knows.

Yes, you got me. I ripped this sentence from Roschach, the hidden vigilate of New York. We are dying, not because this is the time, but because someone never do their jobs, or never do these job follow up any code of conduct. This news, this news, this news and this news… are day after day become our daily facts what we don’t even surprise after we heard them. That means we are not safe here.

The code of conduct

Just read this topic about the campaign TimEm of Closeup. And I wonder how could this man [B]illionaire give himself the permission to spread something confidential like that to the internet. He said that he want to share a real case study after the campaign is ended. But to me, he has no right to do that. Because this campaign is about an unreal love story, that means Closeup was tell lie to their customer. It seem to be a success campaign because of the rising of the awareness after this campaign. The customer believe the story is true, it’s touch their heart and they also believe that Closeup was do a good thing. What if they realize that they were tricked?

In my opinion, this kind of topic must be a story between friends, not a topic in forum. Please respect the Marketer who made this campaign, and also the customer, who have the right to believe that their heart were skip a right beat to hear a touch and real story. This [B]illionaire maybe just want to show off, but he just prove that there are no code of conduct in Vietnam.

My two cents.

My lady and I

Just had an interesting conversation with my lady and her new boss Elizabeth. Elizabeth is so lovely, I love her English speaking because it’s so easy for me to hear and to understand. “The good part of the fact that you are to busy is you have things to done, it means you have a good job!”, said Elizabeth. Yeah, let try to find the other side of a bad thing, you may find out that thing would be good after all.
