Back from the future

October 24th, 2008 | 0 Comment | About Me, Thinking

Me at Ajunied Mrt

When my best friend ask me about my work, I gave him a smile and said: “I am travel to the future!”. He doesn’t know about it, because he aren’t kind of romantic man like me. He said: “Give me a ring when you guy back from future!”.

My friend never get what I mean. No one can see my future, although it’s right here, at them sight. Because the future just a simple concept, not the term about time. I mean if you think your future is waiting for you in the next 20 years, you must know what are waiting for your in this milestone. What if when you reach this milestone but not reach your will? It’s mean your future isn’t your future because they aren’t the future you’ve been dreamed. We cannot sure about our future if we cannot handle our present. I am kind of people who truly know about my present. That’s the reason why I make sure that what will my future are.

You know, I am now working at ASALEO jsc. I love my web developer job. Everyday I learns English, Chinese and design concepts, to improve my knowledge and my professional skill. I am happy because I learns all there fields from the best. I can wait to say thanks to them, and I will try my best so I can be one of them. Get to know what I want to know, and do what I want to do, how easily for me to define my present, and target my future.

Last day in Singapore

September 26th, 2008 | 0 Comment | About Me, Travel

We are too busy in the last two days. Yesterday, we go to Singapore Zoo and Under Water World. Singapore Zoo is so amazing, the animal is very beautiful, and the Zoo’s environment is wonderful. Overall the Zoo is great, we enjoys many interesting shows, and learn about the animal in their private zone. But sometime we don’t see what we want to see, such as the butterfly, even through we have a deeply explore the butterfly kingdom.

Unlike Singapore Zoo, Under Water World is not the wonderful place to see like what they introduce in the flyer. Just the Pink Dolphin’s show is good to see, the Under Water World’s dome is not what I imagine they has to be. A little disappointed for my lady, she really love to see that place, but the truth is too different.

Time to talk about the food. In Singapore, their most favorite foods are steamboat and frog rice-soup. I really agree with them. The steamboat, made by Singaporean, we chose many kinds of food such as beef, chicken, fish, scab, vegetable, tofu… to fry or to put into the red hot chili sauce soup. It’s very delicious!

The frog rice soup is the rice soup with the frog. Man, you can eat many rice soup in Vietnam, but with the frog, you must come here to enjoy it. A different taste, a special sensation. It is really touch, believe me.

I meet some of my friends here, they are Thuy, Huyen and Hung. Thanks for spent your time for me, hope we can hang out in the future, love you all.

Well, today is our last day at Singapore, we also miss Vietnam a little. I think I love Singapore, the people is very friendly, the air is so fresh and the traffic is very safety. Now I know the reason why my friends like to go to Singapore to buy books. I have found so many useful books what I can’t find in Vietnam. (I don’t want to talk about buying something from Amazon.)

The only thing I don’t like of Singapore is all about the whore. I can see them everywhere in the Lorong where we are staying. A experience for you, in Singapore, the even Lorong is specially for “whore”, and the odd Lorong is for “food”, I have no idea about this. Another fun fact, most of the whore I met in the street is very old and un-pretty, who will need them?

Tomorrow, we will leave Singapore. The last thing I want to share with you is me and my lady really love Singapore. It’s so easy to live here, even if you don’t have any instruction from the expert. We found out how to use MRT easily, and you can ask any one you meet to ask for help. I think all of Singaporean can speak English, from the child to the elder. When will people in Ho Chi Minh City can use English like that(?) Bye, Singapore! We will be back soon (hope so). Thanks my lady for sharing this very interested trip with me. Love you babe!

Goodnight Vietnam, see you tomorrow.

Happy birthday to me

September 24th, 2008 | 4 Comments | About Me, Travel

The second day, shopping at Funan Shopping Mall. Brough a lot of books, but skip buying the Wacom. My legs is not mine any more after a whole day walking.

Today the weather is better than yesterday, but the morning rain made us change our plan. We go to the City Hall instead of the Zoo. After bringing all the heavy books back to the hotel, we go to the City Hall again and go through the City Link Mall to Esplanade Theatre. Esplanade Theatre is so amazing. I really love it.

Now, we are watching the Ghost Ship at the hotel, to save energy for tomorrow. Another walking day is waiting for us, especially my legs. Hu hu.

P.S: Today is my birthday, this is the first time I celebration my new age oversea. I hope me and my lady will have another happy trip like this trip. And thanks my lady for sharing this special moment with me. Love you! :)

Halo Singapore!

She looks so throughful

If you ask me about Jet Star service, I will say their service is suck. When my wife signup the booking form in Jet Star website, they don’t have any tip that tell her don’t input our name with Vietnamese. When we do our check-in at the airport, we got our very first trouble of the trip. What’s a service!

Singapore is very beautiful, but the cost is very high. I paid 4 S$ for 1 hour wifi, and our dinner is about 20 S$. My God, what will my mama say if she know we spend 240.000 VND for a dinner. ^^’

My wife is very happy today, she have a new bag, and a new dress. She will be very beautiful tomorrow with these lovely things. I also brought a new shoes for myself, my Converse is too tight and it’s hurting my toes.

I think it’s enough for the first day, will be back with our update tomorrow. I hope nobody ask me “Are you Korean” any more. Today, I heard this question twice. I don’t know why but I am not happy with this. ><’

Goodnight Vietnam.
