I am totally exhausted because of the flight. I hate the awful airbus ATR72, but it is even more better than the airbus ATR70. My lady and I are too tired after got back to home. But don’t worry about us, because our trip to Con Dao is going to be one of our perfect journey of our life.

Con Son island is so amazing, it is not desolate like I was imagine, but it is not crowded as it would be, to be a good travel destination. The sea is beautiful, and it’s the most quiet seaside that I ever come to. Our resort is confront to the sea, and I can see the sea from the window of our room. There are 7000 people in Con Dao archipelago, and 2000 of them are soldiers who defend the island. The people here are very nice, they helped us a lot when our bike ran out of fuel, or when our bike’s wheel is blew up. We go to Dam Bau beach to swim, and go to Ben Dam harbour to watch the sunset. We also had our dinners with seafood in the first night and goat meat in the second. The cost in Con Dao is higher than Ho Chi Minh city, because it is 185km from Vung Tau. You must bring money along with you because there are only one ATM in Con Dao, and it is Vietin Bank service. Internet here are not good, you may not believe but my phone’s GPRS is more faster than the free wifi of the resort.

There are two things that I never forget about Con Dao: First, the view from the cape of Shark is very impressive. Second, I saw a very lovely pig here. You will never see this pig in anywhere except go over there. The natural life in Con Dao is still good for wild animals, so monkeys and pigs, the two popular wild animals of the island, can come across the street safely. I hope the environment like that will never change, because I will come back here and looking for a chance to see this pig again.

Con Dao is a good destination to travel to, if you want to enjoy the nature and the sea. My lady and I have spent three wonderful days here. I love the sunshine, the beautiful blue of the sea, and the landscape of Con Son island so much. If you want to ask me where to go in these shining summer days, I will recommend you this place. Now I back to my life, exhausted and tired, but ready to begin a new week. Maybe the warm water of Con Dao clear all of my sorrow, and give me the power to love and to live.
