Review: Yes Man (2008)

Yes Man (2008)

I have just watched the movie “Yes Man”. This is the movie that my friend Sonny Motives told me to watch because of the meaning of the message was transmitted. The message is you must live with your positive thinking, the easy way is try to say Yes to every chances to be changed. This is so meaningful, isn’t it?

Of course, we all can’t say Yes if our partners decide to leave us. We all say No. Carl Allen (Jim Carrey) also said No since the day his wife left. Three years ago, he made a covenant with a talker who cheated people by his power of speech about how to say Yes. A miracle happen, Carl meet an active girl who really like the way he say Yes. And more than that, Carl suddenly realize that when he say Yes, he have change to do so many things that he never does before. Everytime he said Yes, he have chance to change himself, to be perfect, to be confident. The message is so simple, but so reality: You must try before you give up. Once you said No, you certainly found a good reason to not be regret. But you will never know what is happening if you say Yes, and you can never be different.

Yes Man is a good movie to watch. The acting of Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel are very good. I also like the part of Rhys Darby as Norman. The picture of the movie is very impressive, but the music is not quite good. I am about to add Peyton Reed to my favorite directors list. Yes, I do.

In my opinion, say Yes is not the always-good-option, but if you are offered to a right thing, just say Yes.
