Redesign my blog: Step 02 - Typography & Grid system

Did I told you I am a big fan of Khoi Vinh? The impact of Khoi Vinh’s Grid system concept on my point of view of web design is very high. I build my Typography & Grid system under Khoi Vinh & Mark Boulton’s instruction, you can find the recipe here. I also add some tips from Kimberly Elam’s Typographic Systems of Design, and here are the elements:

1. My Grid System:
   1. Canvas: 971 pixels
   2. Unit: 99 pixels
   3. Total of Units: 9
   4. Gutter: 10 pixels
   5. Total of Gutters: 8
2. My Typeface:
   1. Font family: Verdana, Georgia, Arial
   2. Font for site’s title, site’s slogan, content’s title, menu small text, small link: Verdana
   3. Font for calendar: Georgia
   4. Font for content’s body: Arial
